Raxworthy Opticians Fee Structure 2017

We want to be able to provide our best level of care for all of our clients, all of the time. Visioncare is our monthly payment plan and costs just £10 per month. It is the preferred method of accessing our eyecare services. All examination procedures are inclusive on Visioncare, as are product and treatment discounts. There is no limit on how many times you attend. However, access is available on a pay as you go basis.

Extended NHS eye examination

Comprehensive eye examination

The Eye Clinic

Most eyecare procedures in the Eye Clinic are provided through Vision Care, which at £10 per month allows complete clinical access and gives emergency cover if needed.

Full dry eye assessment (60 minutes)

Includes assessment of anterior surface and lids, use of sodium fluorescein diagnostic stain, eyelid eversion, imaging if necessary, explanation of types of dry eye and treatment plan.

Contact lenses

All contact lens fittings, aftercares and eye examination fees are covered by our monthly payment plan: Visioncare For Lenses. It is the preferred way of purchasing lenses and starts at just £11.50 per month.

This fee is inclusive of a follow up appointment whilst trialling lenses.

An Ortho-K lens fitting normally involves 4-6 appointments dependent on how the lenses fit and the time taken for the therapy to work. Every fitting is different but the fixed fee is inclusive of any follow up appointments needed for this fantastic vision therapy.
* Patients will need to have had an eye examination within the last 6 months in order to be considered for Ortho-K

At Raxworthy Opticians we believe that whatever your eligibility you should have the most comprehensive examination available. Our optometrists recommend the extended NHS examination for everyone so we can provide you with the most appropriate care and recommendations by spending an extended time with you.
